We’re having a bike night at the Sonic in Daphne, and we’re looking for entertainment.

auditions for Theatre 98 (at Church and Morphy in Fairhope, AL)
Auditions for our October shows, ‘A Marriage Proposal’ and ‘The Boor (Bear)’ by Anton Chekhov will be held Monday Aug 2 and Tuesday Aug 3
at 7 PM at Theatre 98. Men age 25 to 70 and women age 25 to 60 are needed. Audition is not for children.
Theatre 98 is all volunteer non-profit community theatre . Contact is not necessary, just show up.
steel/lead guitar player needed (Foley, Alabama)
We need a professional, experienced steel/lead guitar player for a new and long running gig that will start up in November. This will be a high energy, high quality, widely advertised, weekly 2 hour country “show” in the Foley area. You must have experience and be willing to have fun yet put on a very high quality show. This is a Friday, Saturday, every week, paid nightly. . .The right player can have the choice of a set pay or a commission of the door.
This is a great opportunity for the right person…this “show” will be done with a Branson type feel and will be music from the 50’s through to the 2000’s. About 120 songs will be learned up front with a bonus payment for your time. A total of 6 shows will be put together and then minimal songs will be learned thereafter. We will provide all work CD’s,…if you have played for any length of time, you will probably know a ton of these songs. We prefer someone who is proficient in both instruments.
