Lheep K and Kengo M were recently selected to audition for a film called “Silk and Thorns” being done in the Washington DC area. The talent get the chance to audition for a role of the samuri. Both talent are going for the same role.
The project is about a 1860s white owned slave plantation in the south and how a young African salve girl faces the battles of being a slave girl with oppression and abuse. It is a sad story about the life changing decisions one black woman has to make.
