13 year old New York actor Badal Patel auditioned for the lead role in the feature film “Future Weather”. The film is being directed by Jenny Deller and is about Laduree, an environmentally obsessive 7th grader with an apocalyptic view of the planet’s future.

He is a budding scientist who uses her precocious scientific experiments as an anchor in her otherwise chaotic homelife. If Badal is chosen for the shoot, he will play the lead role of Neel, a 7th grade aspiring scientist who has quite the crush on Laduree. If he is booked, he will be paid a SAG rate. This is Badal’s first audition, and we are really excited for him.

New York talent Amber Weiss auditioned for a commercial for an upcoming photo shoot for Wall Street Bath & Spa- Spa 88. The Wall Street Bath & Spa offers the unique combination of an ultra-modern facility and all the comforts and atmosphere of an Old World Bath-House.

They also have many services for both men and women and is located in New York City. If Amber is booked for the commercial, she will be paid a flat fee for her time and the commercial will air locally. We’ll let you know if she is chosen. Good luck Amber!

21 of our OST New York kids were requested to be extras in the independent film “Sleep Seduction”. Independent Film: Sleep Seduction.

The film is about Lisa, a smart young doctor who has been working on a series of studies about sleep paralysis. She has encountered several cases where a paranormal entity has come into play and soon finds herself in the middle of a 200 year old folklore.

The kids will receive a copy of the film.

2 more of our O.S.T. New York talent were chosen for a Wii Fit photo shoot. The photos from the shoot will be used for Wii Fit packaging.

22 year old Amber Weiss and 24 year old Alexandra Woodland shot the ads on February 2nd. They were paid between $90.00 and $150.00 an hour for their time. The next time your in a store that carries the Wii, be sure to check out the packaging for the Wii Fit accessories, and look for our 3 talent!

New York talent Stephanie Andersen was chosen to audition to be a promotional hair model for a L’Oreal/Matrix video shoot. Stephanie has only been a talent with us since September and is brand new to the business. If she is booked for the video, she will be paid $250.00.

One Source Talent New York model Jewell Faranso was requested to audition for a Women’s Health Magazine print ad. Jewell has been a talent with us since February. Originally from Michigan, the freelance hairstylist relocated to New York. Since moving to New York, she has worked on set styling hair with clients such as: Victoria Beckham, Calvin Klein, Anna Sui, Italian Vogue, Vanity Fair.

Were hoping she will be the one getting styled for this shoot! If she is booked, she will be paid a flat rate of $250.00 for the shoot.

One Source Talent New York talent Carola Reigner and Jenna Montalbano have been requested to audition for an educational hair video for Matrix Haircare. They will be choosing a total of 5 models for the shoot. They will be re-creating certain styles for the video.

If either model is chosen for the shoot, they will be paid a flat rate of $800.00. The shoot will take place sometime at the beginning of March. Good luck to both Carola and Jenna!

21 of our New York boys and girls were contacted to attend an open call for the upcoming feature film, “Son of No One“. The film is about a young cop is assigned to a precinct in the working class neighborhood where he grew up, and an old secret threatens to destroy his life and his family.

Robert DeNiro, Channing Tatum and Terrence Howard are among the rumored cast. The film is set to release in 2011. We’ll let you know if anyone is chosen for a role. The compensation for the film is standard SAG scale rates. Good luck to everyone that attended the open call.

17 year old One Source Talent New York based talent Nurys Laureano was chosen to audition for a ballet matinee performance. Nurys has been a talent with us since January.

She has been trained at MorganScott Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet school. The pay on the project is till being determined. Good luck Nurys!

We have some exciting news. Two of our One Source Talent New York members will be working together on the short suspense thriller, “The Existential Question”.

Jason Vomero was booked to play the role of a father who is on a family road trip. His youngest daughter in the film will be played by 10 year old Emily Smith. The film was shot this past weekend. Congrats to both talent, we can’t wait to see the film!
