18 Detroit talent have auditioned for a behind the scenes shoot for an interview scene. The behind the scenes crew interview and hosting gig will be shot in the Detroit area and the talent will receive a DVD copy of the project once it is completed. The Documentary will be show Hollywood Access Channel and Reelz Channel Style.

The producers of the film “The First Fam” held auditions recently in which 6 of our Michigan talent were requested. The film is a captivating modern day American story about the difficult relationship between a 15 year old aspiring rapper, Jamal and his father African American President, Denzel James.

Delasha Entertainment was casting a few roles for the film and will be meeting with our talent this week.

Recently we had 30 of our MI talent get invited to play extras in a indie feature film “TAR”. The film features A-list actors you have seen in films such as Pineapple Express and Spiderman. The film is a bout a writer and follows his story from childhood until his later days. (more…)

Some of you might be familiar with a company by the name of Fathead, well recently one of our Michigan talent got to be featured in one of their commercials that premiered on Monday Night Football! Christopher Corey Gupton has had his hands full, but he is loving it!

There was a recent Playboy Event last Halloween weekend and 6 of our Detroit talent were lucky enough to be invited to participate. “Halloween 2011 Mansion Madness” took place at the V Nightclub in the MGM Grand Casino in Detroit and was hosted by Playboy Models Cassandray Lynn, who was the Miss February 2006 Playmate, and Sasha Bonilova who was Miss May 2011.

The talent will get the chance to wear actual Playboy Bunny outfits at the even and will be paid for their services.

Detroit talent Hannah F #60038 was booked as a model for the biggest Halloween Event in the Midwest! Hannah was booked as a Live Statue Model.

Hannah had this to say: “I did the Halloween event last night and it was a blast! There were so many people there and it was a very fun experience! I wasn’t used to having to stand still for a long period of time in weird poses, but I was told I did a really good job, so I’m happy about that! Thanks for everything you all at One Source do for me, it really means a lot and I’m super happy with how everything is turning out to be, so far!”

4,000 people attended the event this past weekend. Hannah was compensated $200.00 for the night. Hair, Make Up, and Wardrobe was provided by the client.

Over 50 Detroit talent were requested to be available for a Kelly Vincler TNG Worldwide Tiffany Awards Event. This year, TNG worldwide will be celebrating its ninth year presenting the Tiffany Hairdresser of the Year Award. The 2011 Tiffany competition encompasses an innovative approach to fashion, hairstyle and entertainment. If any of our models are booked for the runway show during the event, they will be walking at the Andiamo Celebrity Showroom benefitting the American Cancer Society and presented by TNG Worldwide.

31 of our Michigan talent were contacted about the Feature Film “Sparkle” for the lead role of Aretha Franklin and also for the Smothers Brothers look-a-likes. The film will be shooting for a total of 6 weeks in Detroit. The film, set in Detroit during the height of the Motown era, follows the journey of a family of musically-driven sisters as they perform their way up from neighborhood jazz joints to the packed house of the Fox Theatre.

We are excited to let you know that 42 of our Michigan talent were contacted to audition for one of the long running and popular MTV shows. Yes we are talking about Bunim Murray Productions MTV’s Real World. Believe it or not, these talent were auditioning for Season 27 of the show! The show was casting in several states for the upcoming season. It has been picked up for at least two more so we will see a season 28 as well.
