Over 40 Atlanta talent were requested to audition for a Sitcom/TV Pilot, The Boojee’s. The Boojee’s is a coming of age sitcom of a young newlywed couple (Kevin & Kesha Boojee) who have recently run across hard times and are forced to move in with the wife’s father (Mr. Johnson). Kevin who has been raised as a “sheltered” child; surviving off of his family’s fortune is now having financial problems, & since Kevin is not accustomed to having a job he seems to be having a hard time keeping one. Kesha who has taken up a job as a waitress at a local diner & despite of the current situation is still very supportive of Kevin against her fathers disapproval of their relationship.
Overall seeing this new couple go through their ups and downs with their family and friends will make for an interesting and entertaining experience. If anyone is booked, the pay is TBD based on role. Good luck to all of our Atlanta talent for being requested!
